Hero Maestro Edge 125 launched in India with a starting price of Rs.54,500.

Finally, after the unveiling of Hero Maestro Edge 125 in the Auto Expo 2018, Hero Motors has launched its second scooter in the 125cc segment after Hero Destini 125. Hero Maestro Edge 125 is a flagship scooter for the Hero MotorCorp as it sits above the Destini 125. The 2019 Maestro Edge 125 gets a minor cosmetic upgrade to make it look different from the 110cc Maestro Edge.

Hero Maestro Edge 125 is the first scooter in India to come with fuel injection. It will not only make it fuel efficient scooter, but it will also improve the throttle response and smooth functioning of the engine. However, the company's i3s technology is not provided in the Fi variant. 

In terms of outward appearance, the new Maestro Edge gets all black rear view mirrors, grab-rails, and a split tail-lights which is quite attractive surrounded by the grey finish. The scooter gets 12-inch front wheels while 10 inch rear wheels. It is available in four color options in the carb variant namely Matte Vernier Grey, Matte Brown, Matte Red and Blue, whereas the Fi versions are offered in Panther black and Fadeless white colors.

The 2019 maestro edge 125 gets the engine from the Hero Destini, but the new the maestro is a sportier and feature loaded than the Destini. It gets a 125cc air-cooled engine which generates about 8.7bhp of power at 6,750rpm whereas, it produced 10.2 Nm of torque at 5000rpm.
Moreover, the new Maestro edge gets a boot light along with a USB charging port, an i3s technology in the carb variants for increased fuel efficiency.

The instrument console in the powerful Maestro Edge is redesigned with a semi-digital layout. The digital console covers the speedometer, odometer,trip-meter as well as the service reminder. Moreover, the scooter also gets the side stand indicator.

It is offered in Carburetor as well as Fuel Injection. The drum variant cost Rs.58,450 whereas disc variant is priced at Rs.60,000 for the carburetor variants. The top-end model of the scooter which gets Fi is priced at Rs.62,700(ex-showroom Delhi).

In terms of pricing, the new Maestro underpins most of its rivals which include Honda Grazia, April SR 125 and TVs NTorq.Hero Maestro Edge is the popular scooter from Hero MotoCorp and the introduction of the power variant will definitely lead to increased sales number for the Hero in India.
